Renowned film maker of Sura Yahana Gini Gani, Gini Gath Madu Samaya and Rosa Patikki fame, Eranga Senaratna’s fourth cinematic venture, Sinasuna Aadaren (Smiled lovingly) had completed work and is ready to take over the theaters of the L.F.D. Circuit from April 17.Eranga who made a comeback to cinema after five years said that he had based his new film on love and sacrifice.
The love triangle spins between three talented young actors: Chathurika Peiris, Pradeep Dharmadasa and Buddhika Jayaratne. Seasoned campaigners like Sriyantha Mendis, Dilhani Ekanayake and Rodney Warnakula supported by Vijaya Jayawardena, Udayanthi Kulathunga, Sanjeewa Malmarachchi and others also make up the rest of the cast. The movie introduces child actress Rachini Viranga to cinema.
“The film is family oriented and aimed at audiences of all ages. It is quite different from my previous creations which were aimed at elder spectators,” director Eranga expressed on his latest creation.
He stated that his aim is to lure the audience who appreciated his work on the small screen to theaters.The script of the film is by Lakshman Pushpakumara. Camera by Aruna Peiris and make up by Kiran G. Soyza. Art director and edited by Stanley de Alwis.
Voices for the vocals by Uresha Ravihari, Greshan Ananda, Visharada Abisheka Wimalaweera and Samanthuwa Wasam.
