Personal life

She was born on 17 October 1988 in Mirigama as the eldest of the family with one younger brother. She completed primary education at Primary School, Mirigama. Then she attended to Rathanalankara College, Alauwa for grade-5 scholarship. After passing grade 5 scholarship and attended to the Same College. She did the GCE Ordinary Level Examination at Siddartha Balika Vidyalaya. After passing the A/Ls, she entered University of Colombo in 2010 and completed a special diploma in Drama and the Theatre Then in 2011, she completed her second diploma Personality development and practical psychology by Kuma Iddamallena Leadership Academy . Ever since I was in school I have been studying acting. Later I studied acting and through it I got the opportunity to get involved in teledrama and stage dramas. It was from the stage that she started her acting life.

 

Career

Manjula started music at very the age of 5 where she used to play keyboard and Guitar . Then she joined Muthuhara and Udara musical programs in television as well as some radio programs and Stage drama and street drama. I'm played a role in the teledrama Isuru Sangramaya (ඉසුරු සංග්‍රාමය) teledrama which aired on ITN Channel directed by Nalan Mendis. She has also contributed to many creations such as මොණර කිරිල්ලි, කුසල් චිත්‍රපටය , පාරා වළලු. Today, however, I mostly focus on singing, So I moved away from acting a bit. I was invited to the concert stage. There I was able to win the love of many through my singing and dancing. She was invited for hundreds of outdoor musical shows where she established as a popular singer in Sri Lanka.
